What You'll Learn.

Learn how to use Substance 3D Painter to create detailed and convincing textures for your 3D assets. You will discover the complete texturing workflow, from importing and baking your mesh to creating materials, adding realistic or stylized details, and exporting your final textures for use in other 3D applications.

  • Confidently navigate Substance 3D Painter and its core tools

  • Prepare and bake 3D assets for texturing

Prerequisites

This is an initiation-level training.

No advanced Blender experience is required.

Participants should have:

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Basic familiarity with working in a professional computer environment

  • An interest in 3D creation, animation, design, or digital content

  • A computer capable of running Blender smoothly

Previous experience with Blender or another 3D software such as Maya or 3ds Max can be helpful, but is not required.
